Trunk or Treat @ FRCC 2018 Calling for Volunteers!

Trunk or Treat @ FRCC 2018

Calling for Volunteers!

Last year, Trunk or Treat @ FRCC saw over 300 families.  Families were able to trick or treat in one safe and convenient location, while getting connected with resources in their direct community.  We had a variety of organizations participating in the event this year including: My Sister’s House, River City Food Bank, Black Mothers United, and more.

This year, we hope to make the event bigger and better!  We anticipate 600-700 families and are looking forward to meeting people from the Fruitridge/Stockton community.  Similar to last year, families will be able to trick-or-treat and play carnival games inside—all while learning more about resources in their community.

The event’s success is dependent on volunteers.  Volunteers can help in a variety of capacities:

  • Collect candy, Halloween décor and costumes;
  • Decorate FRCC for the event;
  • Help staff the Trunk-or-Treat Event; and/or
  • Bring your decorated car for Trunk-or-Treating!

At this time, we are especially looking for volunteers to decorate a car for Trunk or Treat.  If you are interested, please sign up here:
